Under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher Bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Wife of His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah and Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, Al Jawaher reception and convention centre (JRCC) is organising the inaugural Sharjah Bridal Fair, which will be held from May 19-22. More than 100 exhibitors, presenting premium bridal services, are expected to participate in the event. The most unique and luxurious exhibition in the Northern Emirates, SBF 2016 aims to provide couples with everything they need to prepare for a perfect wedding day. The world's most renowned fashion brands and major wedding service providers will showcase their latest products and services during the four-day exhibition. These include Swiss Arabian and Esposa, and high-end brands such as Monique Lhuillier, Oscar De La Renta, Carolina Herrera, Marchesa, Savina Deluca and Isabel Sanchis. The event aims to give prospective newlyweds a chance to meet wedding professionals and consultants in a one-stop-shop venue, where they can gather all the relevant information they need to ensure their wedding day goes off without a hitch. Exhibitors will display their best wedding products and services such as wedding gowns, evening dresses, cosmetics, jewellery, abayas and jellabiyas, perfumes, henna, flower arrangements, wedding koshas, makeup and hairdressing, confectionery, photography and video, wedding planning services and honeymoon destinations. Speaking about the event, Hanan Al Mahmoud, Director of JRCC, said "The Sharjah Bridal Fair 2016 is the first wedding fair organised by JRCC and one of the most luxurious wedding exhibitions in the Northern Emirates. The exhibition will offer all the main and supplementary services needed for an attractive and innovative wedding ceremony, and the exhibition space will be divided into thematic sections based on the wedding service providers for a more convenient experience." She added, "We have organised the fair based on our understanding of the demand and growth of the wedding industry sector in the UAE and the various businesses that support such events. Sharjah is the third largest city in terms of the number of wedding contracts, and currently, the wedding function and planning market is growing at a rate of 20 per cent per year. SBF will provide different ways to support the wedding services market and is a favourable addition to the agenda of activities in Sharjah. Without a doubt, this fair will be the ideal destination for couples-to-be, both locals and residents alike, who wish to plan their wedding day smoothly and seamlessly." The Sharjah Bridal Fair will provide brides and grooms with a one-of-akind experience and help them turn their dream wedding into a reality. There will be expert talks, fashion shows, and workshops on makeup and hairdressing, as well as educational sessions on wedding budget checklists and health and fitness by professionals in these fields.
